Online bookingfor barbershops
A barbershop day is a fast rhythm of cuts, fades and beard trims — and a mix of clients who booked and clients who just walked in. Regulars want their barber, at their usual time, every few weeks. Luvira takes the bookings, lets clients pick their barber and keeps every chair’s calendar honest. What it does not do is run a walk-in queue, and we’d rather say that up front.
The hair salon page is about long color appointments, processing time and formulas. Barbershops run on short, frequent cuts, a mix of walk-ins and bookings, and barbers who each keep their own regulars — a different day with different problems. Hair Salon Booking Software
Clippers running. Phone ringing.
A barbershop moves fast. Booking shouldn’t slow it down.
Booking mid-fade
“Can you hold on a second?”
You can’t answer the phone halfway through a skin fade, and the caller books at the shop down the road.
Walk-ins vs bookings
“Is the 3 o’clock still coming?”
A walk-in takes the chair, then the booked client arrives. Somebody waits, and nobody is happy.
The good news?
Bookings by barber, walk-ins in the same calendar — no clashes.
Regulars want their barber
“Is Marco in on Saturday?”
Most clients are loyal to one barber, not the shop. Booking them with whoever is free doesn’t keep them.
Beard work on top
“Can you do the beard too?”
A cut booked alone turns into cut and beard at the chair, and the schedule slips.
Booked chairs, room for walk-ins
Each barber’s calendar shows bookings and the walk-ins you add.
Set up barbers and services
Each barber gets working hours and a calendar; cuts, fades and beard work get their own durations.
- Cut + beard as its own service
- Working hours per barber
- Time off respected
Clients pick their barber
Regulars choose their barber, others choose anyone available, and only real open times show.
- Booking link for Instagram and Google
- Email confirmation
- Reminder before the cut
Add walk-ins as they sit down
Enter a walk-in in the barber’s calendar, and online booking can no longer take that time.
- No double bookings
- One calendar per chair
- History for every client

What Luvira does for barbershops
Each feature has its own page with the details — and what it does not do.

Online bookingReminders for the regulars
A confirmation email when they book and a reminder before the cut — 48 hours ahead by default.
Appointment remindersSomeone answers the phone
The AI phone assistant, an optional add-on, answers calls while every barber is busy.
AI phone assistantA shop website with booking
On the Studio and Salon plans, your menu and barbers appear on a website with booking built in.
Booking websiteWalk-ins, honestly
Many barbershops live on walk-ins, and Luvira has no walk-in queue, no waitlist and no check-in screen. What works is simpler: when a walk-in sits down, the barber adds the appointment to their calendar, and online booking can no longer offer that time. Clients who booked keep their slot, and walk-ins fill the gaps between bookings.
If your shop is mainly walk-in with a digital queue, Luvira is not the right tool today. If you want bookings for regulars and room for walk-ins, it is.
Every barber keeps their regulars
Clients are loyal to barbers. With a calendar per barber, regulars book the person they want, and the client record keeps the guard numbers, the fade height and how they like the beard — useful when their barber is off and someone else takes the cut.
Short buffer times after each cut keep the chair clean and the day on time, even when one fade takes a few minutes longer.
What Luvira doesn’t do for barbershops
- No walk-in queue, waitlist or check-in screen — walk-ins are added to the calendar by hand.
- No point of sale or card reader; payments stay with the system you use today.
- No chair-rent or commission reports for the shop owner.
