Booking for brow artistswith short slots and regulars
Brow appointments are short and frequent: a shape and tint takes less time than most clients spend finding parking, and regulars come back every few weeks. That makes a brow day a long list of small bookings — and every one of them used to be a message. Luvira lets clients book shaping, tinting and lamination themselves, with the right time for each.
Microblading and other semi-permanent brows are permanent makeup, with long appointments and a touch-up weeks later — that is the PMU page. This page is for non-permanent brow work: shaping, tinting, lamination and the regular maintenance that keeps a brow bar busy. PMU & Microblading Booking Software
Twenty-minute services. Twenty messages a day.
Short appointments mean many bookings — and every booking used to be a conversation.
A full day of short slots
“Who replies while I’m mapping?”
Brow appointments are quick, so a busy day holds many clients. Booking each one by message eats the gaps between them.
Patch tests forgotten
“Did she have a tint test?”
Tint and lamination need a patch test ahead of the first treatment. When it isn’t booked, the real appointment has to wait.
The good news?
Each brow service gets its own time — and clients book it themselves.
Lamination needs more time
“Shape and tint, or lamination too?”
A client who adds lamination at the door turns a short slot into a long one, and the next client waits.
Regulars drift
“When was her last shape?”
Regulars who wait too long between visits need more work — and still expect a maintenance slot.

What Luvira does for brow artists
Each feature has its own page with the details — and what it does not do.
Short slots without the messages
Each brow service has its own duration, so clients only see times where shape, tint or lamination really fits.
Online bookingA reminder before every visit
Regulars booked weeks ahead get an email reminder before the appointment — 48 hours by default.
Appointment remindersThe shape you mapped, on file
Keep before and after photos in the client record, stored privately, so the next shape starts from the last one.
Before & after photosQuestions before the first tint
New clients answer the intake questions and sign a consent before their first treatment.
Intake & consent formsWhy brow bars outgrow booking by message
A brow artist can see many clients in a day, and most of them are regulars who come back every few weeks. When each booking is a message thread, the short gaps between clients go to answering them. A booking link turns those threads into appointments clients make themselves, with the right service and the right length.
Separate services for shape, tint, lamination and their combinations are the key. They keep add-ons from turning up at the door, and they let the calendar know how long each visit really takes.
Patch tests and first visits
Many brow artists ask for a patch test before the first tint or lamination. In Luvira the test is simply a short service of its own, so a new client can book it together with the treatment a day or two later. Notes in the client record show when the test was done and what was used.
Luvira’s consent texts are written per specialty and can’t be edited yet. Check whether the closest one — skin care or lash — covers tinting and lamination for you before you rely on it.
What Luvira doesn’t do for brow artists
- No walk-in queue or waitlist — add walk-ins to the calendar yourself so online booking can’t take that time.
- No automatic check that a patch test was done before a tint is booked.
- Consent wording is fixed per specialty; there is no brow-specific form you can edit.
