Booking softwarefor waxing studios
A waxing studio runs on many short, precise appointments: a lip wax, a full leg, a Brazilian, back to back. Clients also want to book privately — few people like to explain on the phone which area they want waxed. Luvira lets them pick the exact service online, answer the intake questions before the first visit and get a reminder before the next one.
Estheticians often offer waxing alongside facials, and that is the esthetician page. This page is for studios where waxing is the main business: a long menu of body areas, short slots back to back, first visits that take longer, and clients who come back on a regrowth cycle. Esthetician Software for Booking & Intake
Short services, long menu. Every minute counts.
Waxing days are tight — and most of the trouble starts at booking.
A first Brazilian in a maintenance slot
“Is this her first time?”
A first-time Brazilian takes longer than a regular one. Booked in the short slot, it pushes the whole afternoon.
Medications nobody asked about
“Is she using a retinoid?”
Some skin care products and medications make waxing risky. If nobody asks before the first visit, you find out too late.
The good news?
The right area, the right time, the right questions — before she arrives.
Awkward phone bookings
“Which area did you say?”
Many clients would rather not say “Brazilian” out loud on the phone, so they don’t call at all.
Regrowth timing
“When is her next wax due?”
Clients who come back too early or too late get a worse result and blame the wax.

What Luvira does for waxing studios
Each feature has its own page with the details — and what it does not do.
Private booking, exact service
Clients choose the area online without a phone call, and only see times where that service fits.
Online bookingIntake before the first wax
Medications, skin care and sensitivities are asked before the first visit, and the signed consent stays with the client.
Intake & consent formsReminders for the next wax
Every booking gets a confirmation email and a reminder before the appointment.
Appointment remindersYour menu on your own website
On the Studio and Salon plans, the same menu fills a waxing studio website with booking built in.
Booking websiteA long menu that stays easy to book
Waxing menus are long because the body has many areas. Grouping them — face, body, bikini and intimate, men’s waxing — helps clients find their service on a phone in seconds. Separate first-visit services for Brazilians and other intimate areas give new clients the extra time they need, while returning clients book the shorter maintenance slot.
Put the prep and aftercare in the descriptions: hair length, no exfoliating right before, no hot tubs right after. Clients read it while booking and arrive ready.
Asking the right questions first
Retinoids, some acne medications and recent peels can make skin lift during waxing. The safest time to ask is before the first appointment, not on the table. Luvira’s intake questionnaire and consent are filled in on the client’s phone or a tablet and stay with her record, together with your notes about her skin.
The consent wording is fixed per specialty and can’t be edited yet, so check that it covers what you need for your studio.
What Luvira doesn’t do for waxing studios
- No automatic regrowth reminder that suggests the next wax — only the reminder for an appointment that is already booked.
- No room or bed scheduling separate from the people who work.
- Consent wording is fixed per specialty and cannot be edited yet.
