How clientsbook online
Clients book in the booking section of your website, in their browser. No app, no account. Five short steps, and the appointment is in your calendar.
Where to find itWebsite & adsWebsite
The five steps your client sees
Service
“What would you like to book?” — the client picks from your menu, with duration and price, and can search with “Search treatments …”.
Person
“Who would you like to see?” — any bookable person who offers that service, or “Whoever is available”, which usually shows the most times.
Time
“When works for you?” — a month view where days with a dot still have open times, then the times of the chosen day sorted into Morning, Afternoon and Evening.
Contact
First and last name and email are required; phone and note become required if you set that in the booking rules. The client agrees that the details may be used to schedule the appointment.
Review
A summary of the appointment and “Confirm booking”. The client sees “You’re booked.” — or “We received your request.” when you confirm bookings yourself.
What happens after the booking
- The appointment appears in your calendar, with the status “Scheduled” if you confirm requests yourself.
- The client gets a confirmation email; your salon gets an email about the new online booking.
- The client is added to your client records, or matched to an existing one by email address.
- Before the appointment the reminder email goes out, if reminders are switched on.
The confirmation email has a “Cancel or reschedule” button. It opens a page on your website where the client sees the appointment and cancels it with one more click, optionally with a reason. The slot is free again right away and your salon gets an email “Appointment cancelled”. To reschedule, the client cancels and books a new time.
Online cancelling works only until your cancellation deadline under Booking rules. After that the page says the free cancellation window has passed and shows your phone number; the button is left out of emails sent after the deadline. With a deadline of 0 hours clients can cancel until the appointment starts.
Try it yourself
Open yourname.luvira.io in a private browser window and book with your own email address. You see exactly what a client sees and receive both emails. Delete the test appointment in the calendar afterwards.
Common questions
How clients book online
No. The email address is required so the confirmation and the reminder can reach them. Phone-only clients are best booked by you in the calendar.
Usually nobody who offers it is bookable that day — check working hours and time off, the lead time and the booking window. If online booking is switched off, the section shows nothing to book.
Yes. Use the address of your website; the “Book now” buttons on the site jump straight to the booking section.
