Set yourbusiness hours
Business hours are the frame for your calendar and the fallback for online booking. Each bookable person can have their own working hours on top — and those win.

Change the hours
Open the calendar settings
Go to Calendar and select “Business hours” at the top. The window is called “Business hours & calendar”.
Set each day
Under “Business hours per day” enter opening and closing time for every weekday. Turn on “Closed” for days you don’t work.
Adjust the view
“Calendar from (h)” and “to (h)” set which hours the week view shows, “Grid (min)” the size of a slot, and “Show weekends” whether Saturday and Sunday appear.
Save
Closed days and the hours outside your opening times appear shaded in the calendar.
Which hours online booking uses
For every bookable person Luvira first looks at that person’s working hours. Only when someone has no working hours at all does it fall back to the business hours. Time off, existing appointments and the buffers from your booking rules are then taken out.
- Solo with fixed hours: the business hours are enough.
- A team with different shifts: enter working hours per person (Team → Staff), and use the business hours only as the salon’s frame.
- A day off for everyone: mark the day as closed for people without working hours, and add time off for the others.
Common questions
Set your business hours
Yes, through working hours: give a person two shifts on the same day, for example 9 to 1 and 2 to 6. Business hours have one opening and one closing time per day.
Add time off for each person who would otherwise be bookable that day. Business hours repeat every week, so changing them for one date would change every week.
Only where your website shows them. The booking section uses them through the rules above; an opening-hours block on the site is edited in the website editor.
