Add staff,hours and time off

A bookable person is someone clients can choose when they book. They need no login of their own — that is a separate step under Logins & roles.

Add a person

  1. Open the staff list

Choose Team in the sidebar. The “Staff” tab is open; select “Add person”.

  2. Fill in the details

Under “Details” enter first name, last name and “Role / position”, for example Lash artist. Set “Online booking” to “Bookable online” if clients may choose this person.

  3. Add contact, bio and photo

“Contact” holds email and phone. “About” takes a sentence or two about the person. A square photo makes them recognizable when clients book.

  4. Save, then add hours

The tabs “Working hours” and “Absences” appear once the person is saved.

Working hours

In “Working hours” every weekday starts as “Closed”. Select “+ Add time” to give a day a shift, and add a second one for a split day. “Save working hours” stores the week; the staff card then lists the working days.

These hours win over the salon’s business hours for this person. Someone without any working hours is bookable during the business hours instead.

Time off

In “Absences” choose “Add time off”, pick the type — Vacation, Sick, Training, Block or Other — and the dates. Leave “All day” on for whole days, or turn it off and enter a time range to block a few hours. An optional reason helps colleagues.

During time off the person is not offered in online booking. Appointments that already exist stay in the calendar, so move or cancel them yourself.
