Collect signedconsent forms
A consent in Luvira is a fixed text plus a signature, stored together with the date and the text version. The client signs with a finger on your device, right in the salon.

Three kinds of consent
- “Health history” — questions about health that matter for the treatment.
- “Briefing” — the treatment consent for your specialty: what happens, the usual reactions, aftercare.
- “Photo release” — permission to take and keep treatment photos.
The wording is chosen by your specialty and by your salon’s country. US salons get US versions; each signed form records which version was signed.
Have a client sign
Open the client
Choose Clients → Clients and open the record. Switch to the “Treatments” tab.
Start the form
Select “Obtain consent” and choose the kind under “What is it about?”.
Hand over the device
The client reads the text and ticks “I have read the text and agree.” Changing the kind removes the tick again, so nobody signs a text they didn’t see.
Sign
The client signs in the field “Sign here” with a finger or a stylus. “Start over” clears it.
Store it
Select “Store consent”. Wording and signature are saved together and kept for three years.
The same form opens from an appointment: when you document a treatment and no signed treatment consent is on file, Luvira shows a warning with an “Obtain consent” button.
Check, view and withdraw
The “Consents” list shows each form with “given on” and the date it is kept until. “View signature” opens the signed image. If a client withdraws, select “Withdraw” and confirm with “Yes, withdraw” — it applies from today, and treatments already done stay documented.
Common questions
Collect signed consent forms
Not yet. The questions and the treatment text are fixed per specialty. Ask extra questions in person and note the answers in the treatment record.
Not remotely. Signing happens on your device in the salon. Many studios hand over the tablet at check-in while the client waits.
No. The checkbox on the booking form only covers processing the booking details. Treatment consent and photo release are signed separately in the client record.
