Lash cancellation policywith the fill rule built in
A late-cancelled full set leaves a two- to three-hour hole that is almost impossible to fill on short notice. This generator starts with values many lash artists use and adds the clauses only lash work needs — the fill window and clean-lash prep.
Lash extensions: your policy
Starting values: 48 hours’ notice and fees for late cancellations and no-shows. Many US lash artists ask for 24 to 48 hours — change everything to fit your studio.
Your policy
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
We reserve time and prepare for every appointment. To keep our schedule fair for every client, please read this policy before you book.
Cancelling or rescheduling You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your appointment. Changes made later than that are charged 50% of the booked service price.
No-shows If you miss your appointment without letting us know, we charge the full price of the booked service. After two missed appointments, we may no longer accept online bookings from you.
Running late We hold your appointment for 15 minutes. If you arrive later, we may need to shorten your service or treat it as a missed appointment.
Good to know Fill window: Fills are for lashes that still have enough extensions on — usually within three weeks of your last appointment. If too few are left, we will need to book the time as a full set. Clean lashes: Please come with clean lashes and no mascara. Cleaning them at the start comes out of your appointment time.
Exceptions Emergencies happen. If something serious comes up, contact us as soon as you can — we may waive the fee. If we close because of severe weather, there is no fee.
How fees are paid Any fee is added to your next appointment and needs to be paid before we can book you again.
By booking an appointment with us, you agree to this policy.
Why lash artists ask for more notice
Lash appointments are long and few. A solo artist with three or four sets a day loses a large share of the day when one client cancels the night before, and a classic or volume set cannot be squeezed into a gap the way a quick nail service can.
Fills make it worse: a fill slot that opens at short notice rarely finds a taker, because fill clients are on a rhythm with you, not shopping for a free time. That is why a lash policy usually asks for a longer window than a hair or nail salon would.
Put the fill rule in writing
The most common argument in a lash studio is not about the fee — it is about whether an appointment is still a fill. Writing down what counts as a fill (time since the last set, enough lashes left) settles it before the client is in the chair.
- Say how long a fill window lasts in your studio
- Say what happens when too few extensions are left
- Ask for clean lashes so prep time does not eat the appointment

About cancellation policies for lash extensions
Many lash artists ask for 24 to 48 hours, and some ask for more on full sets than on fills. Pick a window you can actually rebook in — if a full set is hard to fill the day before, 48 hours is more honest than 24.
The fee is usually based on the service that was booked. The fill rule is separate: it decides whether the next appointment is still a fill or has to become a full set.
Not yet. Luvira does not take card payments or deposits in the US version, so fees are collected the way you do it today. Luvira does put your free-cancellation window into every reminder email.
On your booking website, so clients see it before they book, and in your own message when you confirm a new client. In Luvira you set the same notice window under booking rules.
