Microblading cancellation policyfrom first session to touch-up
Permanent makeup is booked weeks ahead, takes hours and is followed by a touch-up that has to land in the right healing window. This generator writes a policy for brows, liner and lips that covers prep, the touch-up and late cancellations.
Microblading & PMU: your policy
Starting values: 72 hours’ notice and a fixed late-cancellation amount, because PMU sessions are long and booked far ahead. Treat these as suggestions.
Your policy
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
We reserve time and prepare for every appointment. To keep our schedule fair for every client, please read this policy before you book.
Cancelling or rescheduling You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 72 hours before your appointment. Changes made later than that are charged a $50 fee.
No-shows If you miss your appointment without letting us know, we charge the full price of the booked service. After two missed appointments, we may no longer accept online bookings from you.
Running late We hold your appointment for 15 minutes. If you arrive later, we may need to shorten your service or treat it as a missed appointment.
Good to know Skin prep before your session: Before your session, avoid tanning and facial peels in the treatment area. If your skin is not ready on the day, we will reschedule, and the late-cancellation rule applies if you knew in advance. Touch-up timing: Your touch-up should be booked four to eight weeks after the first session. Touch-ups booked much later are treated as a new session. Pregnancy and health changes: If you become pregnant or start blood thinners before your session, tell us — we reschedule without a fee.
Exceptions Emergencies happen. If something serious comes up, contact us as soon as you can — we may waive the fee. If we close because of severe weather, there is no fee.
How fees are paid Any fee is added to your next appointment and needs to be paid before we can book you again.
By booking an appointment with us, you agree to this policy.
Booked weeks ahead, lost in a day
A brow or lip session can take most of a morning, and clients often book it weeks in advance. When one cancels two days before, the waiting list rarely has someone ready for a long session with consultation, mapping and numbing. That is why permanent makeup artists often ask for a longer window than lash or nail studios.
The touch-up belongs in the policy
Healing decides when the touch-up should happen. If a client waits months, the pigment has settled differently and the touch-up becomes a new session. Writing the window down — and what happens after it — avoids the most common dispute in a PMU studio.
Health changes are the other case. Pregnancy, new blood thinners or a skin condition in the area rule out a session. A policy that waives the fee for these, when the client tells you early, keeps everyone safe.
Template, not legal advice. Consumer and fee rules differ by state; review the policy before you enforce it.

About cancellation policies for microblading & pmu
Many PMU artists ask for 48 to 72 hours, because sessions are long and hard to rebook on short notice. Use the window you can actually fill again.
It usually follows the same notice window. Many artists also set a time limit for the touch-up, after which it is booked as a new session.
Not yet. Luvira does not process payments or deposits in the US version. It handles online booking, reminder emails, the signed permanent makeup consent and private before-and-after photos.
Yes — the policy covers appointments, the consent covers the procedure itself. Use our permanent makeup consent template for the second part.
