Massage cancellation policythat ends sessions on time
A massage therapist can only give so many sessions a day, and the next client is already waiting. This generator writes a policy around that: late arrivals shorten the session, illness is handled kindly, and couples bookings count as one.
Massage: your policy
Starting values: 24 hours’ notice and a session that ends at its scheduled time. Many massage therapists use a 24-hour window — change it if your sessions are long or booked far ahead.
Your policy
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
We reserve time and prepare for every appointment. To keep our schedule fair for every client, please read this policy before you book.
Cancelling or rescheduling You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Changes made later than that are charged 50% of the booked service price.
No-shows If you miss your appointment without letting us know, we charge the full price of the booked service. After two missed appointments, we may no longer accept online bookings from you.
Running late Your appointment ends at its scheduled time so the next client is not kept waiting. Arriving late means a shorter service.
Good to know Sessions end on time: Your session ends at its scheduled time so the next client is not kept waiting. Arriving late shortens your massage, and the full session price applies. Feeling unwell: Please do not come for a massage with a fever or a contagious illness. If you let us know before your appointment, we reschedule without a fee.
Exceptions Emergencies happen. If something serious comes up, contact us as soon as you can — we may waive the fee. If we close because of severe weather, there is no fee.
How fees are paid Any fee is added to your next appointment and needs to be paid before we can book you again.
By booking an appointment with us, you agree to this policy.
Why late arrivals are handled differently
Hair and nail appointments can sometimes run long. A massage room usually cannot: the room needs to be reset, and the therapist’s next client is booked right after. That is why many massage policies have no grace period at all — the session simply ends on time and the full price applies.
Saying this clearly in advance turns an awkward conversation at the door into a rule the client already agreed to.
Illness is not a no-show
A fever or contagious illness is a reason not to massage at all. A fair policy rewards clients who tell you early instead of pushing through. Waiving the fee when someone cancels for illness before the appointment keeps them honest — and keeps your room healthy.
Template, not legal advice. Consumer and fee rules differ by state; review the policy before you enforce it.

About cancellation policies for massage
Many therapists use 24 hours. If your sessions are long, booked weeks ahead or in a shared room, a longer window can make sense.
Many massage therapists do not: the session ends on time and the client pays the full price. The generator lets you set a grace period if you prefer one.
No. Luvira does not process payments or deposits in the US version yet. It books sessions online and sends reminder emails that state your cancellation window.
Yes. When clients complete the health questions before the visit, conditions that rule out a massage come up early — and can be rescheduled without a fee.
